Lessons of History

The december challenge was essentially "The End of the World" (or more gently: "the last goodbye") in deference to all the hype how Dec 21/2012 was going to be the end of the world due to the misinterpretation of what the Mayans expected with their long-count calendar rolled over to a new cycle.

For my show, I got to thinking about another anniversary we recently went through the 50th anniversary of the Cuban missile crisis, when during that month of October in 1962, the world was held hostage to a show of brinksmanship by the worlds nuclear superpowers. Today the actors on the stage are different, but the story of the threat to society and mankind is still there. The question is, have we learned from the lessons of history?

This show is also an experiment that I started with my MOA show. Exploring the ideas where the emotion and flow of the story is bound up in the voices and sounds of the show, rather than a musical background.
